naoPRO FINALS DAY
Pumping surf, light rain and high action for the finals day of KAMOGAWA naoPRO.
As always the warm up session was hot with only a few pros hitting the water.
小雨が降りしきるなか頭前後の十分な波のコンディションに恵まれた
JPSA最終戦鴨川nao PROの大会ファイナルデイ。
ヒートが行われる会場脇では何名かのプロサーファーたちが
熱いウォームアップセッションを繰り広げる。

大澤伸幸とのクォーターファイナルに向けて調整を行うのは、
ここまで勝ち上がってきた大野Mar修聖。

フルローテーションエアを試みるべく空高く飛翔するのは、今回のJPSA最終戦で見事仲村拓久未を相手に逆転優勝を遂げた大澤伸幸。

Although an earlier round exit, Ryota Matsushima sticks around to enjoy the solid swell in Kamogawa.
早めのラウンドで負けてしまった松下諒大だったが、
波が良かったためしばらくこの辺りに張り付いていた。

As the action heats up in the man on man final rounds, earlier round favourites start to be eliminated. Putting up high to excellent scores throughout the event Arashi Kato, Teppei Tajima and Kaito Ohashi bow out in the QF and SF.
ライディングを重ねるごとにどんどんヒートアップしていく
マンオンマン形式で行われたファイナル・ラウンド。
クォーターファイナル、セミファイナルを通して田嶋鉄兵、
大橋海人、加藤嵐がハイスコアやエクセレントスコアを連発した。
そのなかでもベストライディング賞を獲得したのは大橋海人。
コンテスト初日では、ありえない高さの
まさにネクストレベルなビッグスラブエアを披露した。

The exhibition match featured JPSA top 16 and was full of action and resulted in a patient Hide Tanaka taking the win on a LONG frontside tube ride. Congrats braddah!
JPSAのトップ16によって行われたエキシビジョンマッチで
長いフロントサイドチューブを見せて、
見事優勝を勝ち取った田中英義。

優勝の大澤伸幸、ベストライディング賞の大橋海人といった
地元茅ヶ崎の先輩たちについで
エキシビジョンで2位となった佐藤魁。

The mens final was a seesaw battle that showed this year’s newly crowned grand champion, Takumi Nakamura faced up against newly crowned father, Nobuyuki Osawa.
2015年のグランドチャンプ仲村拓久未を相手に、
逆転に逆転が繰り返されるシーソーゲームとなったファイナル。
その激戦を見事制した大澤伸幸のその根底には、
生まれてきた息子、支えてくれる新たしい家族に対する
揺るぎない想いがあったにちがいない。

A cleanly executed air reverse put Takumi into the lead in the final minutes with Nobu looking to answer.
ファイナル中盤でエクセレントスコアとなった
完成度の高い仲村拓久未のエアリバースは、
大澤伸幸をさらに追い詰めた。

Nobu finds a clean left and showed powerful backhand surfing to take the win in the dying moments.
その後、仲村拓久未のマークから逃れるべく小ぶりなレギュラーの波に乗り左側に移動。クリーンなグーフィーのセットを掴み、パワフルなバックサイドサーフィンを見せ逆転に成功！この一本が勝利の決め手となった。
