Out the door and on the wave hunt, typhoon 9 starts to pump solid surf into South Chiba. A quick look at the local points and the call is made to surf somewhere else.\u00a0A short drive out of Kamogawa and the cloudy skies start to darken. The rain holds back for now, but it’s only a matter of time. As I exit another tunnel, I’m greeted by sizeable surf on the roadside.
